Team Collaboration

Collaborate OnlineCollaboration among students as well as faculty is a major focus of the Babson curriculum. It is important for students and faculty to collaborate while on campus, but it is equally important that they be able to collaborate while in different locations around the world.

Distance learning is becoming more and more a part of Babson's curriculum. The majority of courses available at the graduate and undergraduate level have some online component. This movement towards online classes allows students the opportunity to be a part of the Babson community even if they can not physically be on campus. With collaboration tools such as Blackboard, Breeze, and Elluminate, students and faculty are able to join together from anywhere via the internet.

Currently, Babson uses the following tools to help with class and group collaboration:

  • Blackboard
  • Breeze
  • Breeze Live
  • Elluminate
  • Windows Net Meeting
  • Microsoft One Note (for the Tablet PC)
